Superface Zoom In Mesh Cushion in Shade Natural

Sorry for being MIA. Sobrang dami na new youtubers and beauty gurus/bloggers. NKKLK. Kasi ang dami na din products na very promising! Haha.

Speaking of, I got this Superface Lights, Camera, Action! Zoom in Mesh Cushion in shade Natural from Raiza Contawi’s Charis shop. Back when nakapromo siya, around 900+ with refill na and her hand-held mirror! Raiza is one of my fave youtubers now, she’s very nice and not snobbish sa IG! Haha. Parang pag siya na yung nagreview, very honest. Haha

Enough with the chitchats, got this last year pa. These photos have been sitting in my storage for a long time now. Hehe. It’s also my first time using a cushion! 

Here’s how the packaging and the product look like:

It has a refill. Actually, hindi ako ma-base makeup na tao. I prefer lightweight and sunscreen lang. My skin gets irritated quickly pag masyado na marami nakalagay. 😂 How ironic for someone who loves to play with makeups.  So, I think I wont get to use the refill anytime soon.

Fyi. I think I am NC25-30. This shade is super close sa skin ko na I think you wont really notice Im wearing a base makeup. Personally, I’d prefer a one shade lighter for my face.

Setting Powder: Laura Mercier Translucent Powder

It has a subtle glow when not powdered. Very nakaka-fresh.:

This is me wearing the cushion for 9-10 hours without retouch and just blot lang with tissue during lunch break. So expect na may oil-ups na but I think hindi naman siya ganun ka-OA. It looks dewy lang. See that shine on my cheeks and i didn't even use a highlighter. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I dont bring powders and foundations/cushion with me to retouch. Kasi nga, i have sensitive skin, so if I re-apply, tas naexpose na skin ko sa dirt. Magbbreakout lang ako. That’s a no-no. Haha

Let's go to my thoughts about the Superface Zoom In Mesh Cushion. 

What I love: 

• Shade Natural is perfect for the Morenas and yep very natural. 
• True to its claims! No wonder this was raved by many Youtubers.
• Did not cause breakouts 👍🏻
• Cute ng packaging!! Lol

Will I re-purchase: Sure. But not anytime soon since I have a refill. I want to try the lighter shade.

Helloo! It has been a long while. Got caught up with many things from work and life. But I am trying to rekindle my love for makeups through doing full makeup glams or just playing with makeups and this, updating my blog!

I just cannot help it.  Especially whenever I find out that the products I am eyeing are on sale.. 50% off sale! 

Beauty Bar's online site released a 50% off sale on different products,  We all know most of their items are high-end, so when I saw the Ad, I immediately clicked the link and searched for The Balm's Products. They also offerred free shipping that time. :D

 I've been dreaming of having a Mary-Lou Manizer in my kit, and I think this is the very first highlighter that most of the MUAs/Youtubers's fell in love with!  They also sold the Trio for 50% off, but it went out of stock immediately.  That could've been a best buy but I dont think I can use the three highlighters, so I just bought the Mary-Lou Manizer.

On the first day of the sale, they didnt include Bahama Mama but upon checking the site the next day, I found that it's on sale too, so, I didnt think twice and bought it right then and there!

The Balm's packaging is so pretty! 

It's a bronzer / contouring powder.

Here's a swatch, I had to swatch it three times so it would appear on the picture/camera. But I guess that's a good thing, since you dont want your bronzer/contour to look harsh.

The third product I bought is from beautyshopph.  This is my second time purchasing from the shop, so I assure you that it's legit. The first transaction I had with them was when I bought my Make Up Revolution Flawless Matte Eyeshadow palette, my blog post about it link here!

I used the shopee app for purchasing so I can earn points.  Shopee also offer discounts from time to time so I really prefer buying through them.  They also offer free shipping fee if the items you bought are worth Php 250 and up.  This costs less than 250 so I bought a dropper worth Php 40.  I am planning to use it for my Castor oil. Watch out for my blog post about it! :D

Diba? Sobrang nakatipid ako! hahaha! read some good reviews about this product and since I do get zits from time to time (blame ze hormones). I must have this.  I also need to practice how to color collect and cream contouring.  I hope this works!

Speaking of tipid, I also think that these products are the closest dupes for The Balm's Mary Lou Manizer and Bahama Mama. See swatches below:

Elf Baked Highlighter vs Mary Lou Manizer

I think Mary Lou Manizer has a yellow undertone to it, so champagne-y effect siya unlike Elf's Baked Highlighter. 

Pigmentation-wise: Same, especially Elf's, I have tried applying it with fingers and wet brush, and I must say very pigmented din! Though, I have yet to test Mary Lou Manizer on my face, the swatch says it's a very promising product! 

NYC Bronzer vs. Bahama Mama

The colors are super close.  Just note that I swatch Bahama Mama three times to have the color appear on the camera. I have yet to test Bahama Mama on my face.

The Cure for a Stressed Thy.

ALife in general. No matter how you are so patient, there will always be someone / something who will get on to your very last nerve. That's just how the world is! Lol. If you'll ask me, I'll just buy something that I like (hint: colors) then that will make me feel better and if it does not suffice, GoT Marathon, make up tutorials got my back! See, something that can take my mind off of the stress.

Lately, I've been hoarding lipsticks. Who would've thought that I was once a girl who would prefer lipglosses, liptints or none at all because Mother and Titas would scare me that I would get darker lips if I use them. But I believe in the power of make-up removers + Lip Scrub and a great lipbalm (Gees! If there's one great lesson I have learned ever since I ventured in to the make up / Beauty world, that is to use a lipbalm! EVERY one should use lipbalms, please! lol)

But, AGE = REBELLION. Hahaha. JK. I now own many lipsticks. I buy them just for the sake of having them or because I would really like to try them. Thankfully, lipstick lines are now revolutionary! From bullets to liquid lipstick. As the lipsticks evolve, my desire to have all of them also grow! How I wish my wallet was revolutionary as well that it would produce cash itself! : P

I have here my 5 Favorite Lip products that I can choose from to suit my ever-changing moods LOL and it never disappoint me!

Revlon's Matte Balm Balm Stain and -A cult-favorite so I must have it! 

Revlon's Matte Balm in Audacious

I usually use this when going to work or when I am in a rush that I do not have my full face makeup on. It instantly makes you look fresh and healthy since the coral color gives you warmth.


Revlon's Balm Stain in Crimson Crush

This! It does not dry out your lips and it even leaves tint so it's perfect for two reasons: When you just want a fresh / simple makeup or you can use this on a night out, just apply twice or thrice on your lips. I want to repurchase, but I still have two unopened lip tints and a lipbalm so I might as well empty them out before buying a new one! Temptations, please go away. hahaha.

Me Now's Kissproof in Lipstick No.12

Okay, I know this is Made in China. I know this is cheap. I know this can be dangerous. LOL But, they have the shade I've been looking for. No.12 is a dark lipstick, but it depends on how opaque you would like it to be on your lips. I am not good at describing, but sometimes I see it as a Maroon / Burgundy shade. Really drying but it's good!

Colourpop's Ultra Satin in Dopey

I was expecting this would be a rosy brown / lavenderish color but it's just pink. A neutral pink. It's not really drying since its not matte, which means its transferrable. It feels heavy on the lips when freshly applied but it goes away once it dries out.

It's too pinky here but it's more of a pinky brown in personal.

It was on sale on BeautyMNL for 199. I dont know how much this is when you buy something at the mall. I saw Georgina Wilson wearing it on their posters and I said to myself: "Kailangan ko malaman shade nun!" So I scrolled down the comments, I found it and headed immediately to BeautyMNL's site. Nagpawaitlist-Naubusan-nagpawaitlist-Ordered immediately! I also influenced my officemate to buy Touch of Spice shade.

Reddish Brown shade. 

All I can say about this lipstick is .. Ang ganda. I never thought I would wear a brown lipstick! Nice for MLBB! A little darker but very natural looking! I recommend this. It's really creamy and matte. Transfers but that's okay. (I saw a local dupe for this.  Try checking out Ever Bilena's Dusky Rose! Ako lang ba, or almost the same sila? :p)

Online make-up shopping at Shopee PH!

Girls, do you ever encounter days when you just want to save all your money and promised to not spend it til your next salary comes? And then days, when you just wanna spend all your savings and be happy because you always remind yourself that you deserve it! And, I must tell you.. The second day I was talking about, well.. I'm still on that stage.. And im thinking about what to buy next! Hahaha.

I spend but I also make sure that I can still save even if that's a little bit. So, this online store called Shopee came at the right time! Online shops that I always check to see if they're on sale, have accounts on Shopee. The shops I'm referring to are the Beautyshopph and thebbcreamshopph. They are on sale for the whole month of February, I guess.

Here's the fun part! ( atleast for me) I get to brag about how much I saved from the discounts and sales the store has! 

Since, I'm a newly registred customer. They sent me a discount of Php150 off on my first order.

Remeber the discount code they gave me? I used it for this order. I bought this palette because somehow, I want to have the level-up make up game! I want the creamy pigmented blendable matte eyeshadows and I am so over with the chalky, ALWAYS glittery with fallouts everywhere eyeshadows. 

Will do a review for these two soon! I just have to find a free time and good skin and health condition! Lol. I get so sicky these days.

December 2015 Haul & Mini Review

It's that time of the year again, when people would always find an excuse to shop and buy everything they want. Hi Bonus! I mean, Christmas Season! 

It's been quite sometime since I did a haul or even post a blog, but I am here now. I'm still a cheapskate, i'll still go for an affordable price but def not for a cheap quality. 

I'll start off with my 2016 Planner, I bought from National Bookstore. I used to buy planners from Papelmerotti. The one that's in a brown paper and cute front covers, but it's too small. I dont think I can properly write down schedules and to do list with those. 

I was gonna purchase one from 168 Mall, but the maroon/deep red color of this planner caught my eye. 😍

This is my first time to have this kind of.. Wait how do I describe this... this kind of adult-ish / professional planner.

But, I'll be sharing with you two of my holygrails when it comes to skincare. 

First one is from Dickinson's Witch Hazel. It's their Pore Perfecting Toner. Actually they have two variants the other one is an astringent which I think, made my skin dry, so I decided to use the pore perfecting one again and just stick with it forever. Lol

I got this for Php79 at Healthy Options, Sm Mla. I dont have any cons about this! It does it job and claims well! 

I am inlove with Human Heart Nature's products. In fact, if you guys read my blog you'll know I did try their shampoos and moisturizer. I'm still using them up to now.  the next one is their Human Heart Nature's Hand and Foot Salve in Eucalyptus. 

I'll rave about this! It does great for moisturizing and it also has this relaxing scent! Just be sure to get the Eucalyptus variant. That's 2-in-1!!!! I really suggest you guys try this! 

On to the makeups!

I was only going to buy an eyeshadow base but because matte eyeshadows are my thing right now, I bought this Catrice eyeshadow. I'm eyeing on Make Up Revolution's Ultra flawless matte eyeshadows. Saving up for that! 

Here is Essence I Love Stage Eyeshadow Base:

And Catrice Absolute eyeshadow in Go, Charlie Brown! Php 150. Reg price of: Php249

Oh I did a mini review/first impression about these two:

Eyeshadow base: creamy consistency, a little goes a long way

Eyeshadow: creamy, smooth and matte! 

With primer: It made it look more of a warm brown rather than just a ashy brown comparing to the swatch under it. 

I did this at 12am of Dec 13. I woke up at 9am. You can still see a hint of brown on my wrist. Longevity is great and it made the eyeshadow more opaque. I would suggest these two for you girls to try out. If you're on a budget, nagkukuripot or just wanna be a wise buyer. Who doesnt right?! 

Oh and a disclaimer: Just because these products work for me, it wont mean it would always and also work for you. Just keep in mind that we all have different skin types. I suggest to ALWAYS search for reviews about the product you'll be buying and testing out. 😉
