I cant say no to 50% off sales..

I just cannot help it.  Especially whenever I find out that the products I am eyeing are on sale.. 50% off sale!

Beauty Bar's online site released a 50% off sale on different products,  We all know most of their items are high-end, so when I saw the Ad, I immediately clicked the link and searched for The Balm's Products. They also offerred free shipping that time. :D

Let me just show you how secure and cute their packaging is.

Left Package: from Beautyshopph (2nd time buying from the shop.  It always has a freebie! Thanks, beautyshopph!
Right Package: from Beauty Bar's online shop.  The pink strips of papers are perfect for flat lays! ;)  And thanks for the compliment! :p
On to the products....
I've been dreaming of having a Mary-Lou Manizer in my kit, and I think this is the very first highlighter that most of the MUAs/Youtubers's fell in love with!  They also sold the Trio for 50% off, but it went out of stock immediately.  That could've been a best buy but I dont think I can use the three highlighters, so I just bought the Mary-Lou Manizer.

Might seem matte.
Hello Gorgeous! Oh Yes you are!

One Swipe and it's blinding! hehehe. So creamy and pigmented.  I haven't used it but Ill surely post a pic once I wear it!
Regular Price: Php 1,025.00
Sale Price:  Php 512.50!

On the first day of the sale, they didnt include Bahama Mama but upon checking the site the next day, I found that it's on sale too, so, I didnt think twice and bought it right then and there!

The Balm's packaging is so pretty!

It's a bronzer / contouring powder.

Here's a swatch, I had to swatch it three times so it would appear on the picture/camera. But I guess that's a good thing, since you dont want your bronzer/contour to look harsh.

Regular price: Php 925.00
Sale price: Php 462.50!
The third product I bought is from beautyshopph.  This is my second time purchasing from the shop, so I assure you that it's legit. The first transaction I had with them was when I bought my Make Up Revolution Flawless Matte Eyeshadow palette, my blog post about it link here!

I used the shopee app for purchasing so I can earn points.  Shopee also offer discounts from time to time so I really prefer buying through them.  They also offer free shipping fee if the items you bought are worth Php 250 and up.  This costs less than 250 so I bought a dropper worth Php 40.  I am planning to use it for my Castor oil. Watch out for my blog post about it! :D

Mall price: Php379
Beautyshopph: Php 220
Diba? Sobrang nakatipid ako! hahaha! read some good reviews about this product and since I do get zits from time to time (blame ze hormones). I must have this.  I also need to practice how to color collect and cream contouring.  I hope this works!

Speaking of tipid, I also think that these products are the closest dupes for The Balm's Mary Lou Manizer and Bahama Mama. See swatches below:

Elf Baked Highlighter vs Mary Lou Manizer

I think Mary Lou Manizer has a yellow undertone to it, so champagne-y effect siya unlike Elf's Baked Highlighter.
Pigmentation-wise: Same, especially Elf's, I have tried applying it with fingers and wet brush, and I must say very pigmented din! Though, I have yet to test Mary Lou Manizer on my face, the swatch says it's a very promising product!

NYC Bronzer vs. Bahama Mama
The colors are super close.  Just note that I swatch Bahama Mama three times to have the color appear on the camera. I have yet to test Bahama Mama on my face.

You'll get to see mini-reviews on my instagram @esirryhat :D  Or if ever I'll have the time to create looks again.

Right now, I'm just happy that I finally have these two The Balm's products. Dati swatch lang ako sa Beauty Bar. Hahaha!

Anyways,

I hope you can follow/message me on my instagram cos that's where I'm always active. hehe.

Til next post!

Online make-up shopping at Shopee PH!

Girls, do you ever encounter days when you just want to save all your money and promised to not spend it til your next salary comes? And then days, when you just wanna spend all your savings and be happy because you always remind yourself that you deserve it! And, I must tell you.. The second day I was talking about, well.. I'm still on that stage.. And im thinking about what to buy next! Hahaha.

I spend but I also make sure that I can still save even if that's a little bit. So, this online store called Shopee came at the right time! Online shops that I always check to see if they're on sale, have accounts on Shopee. The shops I'm referring to are the Beautyshopph and thebbcreamshopph. They are on sale for the whole month of February, I guess.

Here's the fun part! ( atleast for me) I get to brag about how much I saved from the discounts and sales the store has!

Since, I'm a newly registred customer. They sent me a discount of Php150 off on my first order.

I was only gonna buy the Missha's Perfect Cover Bb Cream, but then, Make Up Revolution's Flawless Matte palette was on sale too!

Super-secure packaging!

 Yay I have a freebie!

Missha's Perfect Cover BB Cream

Mall Price: Php1500+ (Full size) / 800 (Smaller Size)
The BBcreamshopph Price: 850 (full size, yes the FULL SIZE!/ (I think the small size isnt available?)

On their Shopee's store Price:
Php685 + Php80 (sf) + 20 (remittance charge, depends on where you want to make the payment) = Php785.00!!

From Php 1500 to 765.00! Diba diba diba!!

The next item I got is the Make Up Revolution's Flawless Matte Eyeshadow Palette

So gorgg!! That metallic color!

Here are what the shades look like. Will do swatches soon!

Eyeshadow names/shades. Which one catches your eye? Me? ALL OF THEM! My eyes are like <3.<3 now!

Remeber the discount code they gave me? I used it for this order. I bought this palette because somehow, I want to have the level-up make up game! I want the creamy pigmented blendable matte eyeshadows and I am so over with the chalky, ALWAYS glittery with fallouts everywhere eyeshadows.

Will do a review for these two soon! I just have to find a free time and good skin and health condition! Lol. I get so sicky these days.

Some of you may say, believe that "money cant buy happiness" but people, I'm sorry to burst your bubble, we all have our own taste for happiness. This, or THESE are my happiness. Hahahaha! And If I'm going to turn into a shopaholic anytime soon, you know who to blame. *ehem* shopee!!

Eyebrow routine using an eyebrow pencil.

Although, I'm a lipstick junkie my fave part of my make up routine is doing my brows. I've been practicing to have that perfect brows, Well atleast for me.

I dont like those over done brows. lately, the natural looking that has a shape and a little arch is fine with me. I am also struggling (struggling is way exaggerated!) to find the perfect shade for my brows. Not too black, not to brown. I have a black hair, so if anyone can suggest a good one, comment down below please? *.*

So, i just wanna share to you guys how I do my brows using a pencil, a brow powder and a brow gel/mascara. For this post, I'll be using my Nichido Eyebrow Pencil in Black brown. Then for the brow powder and brow gel, maybe on my next post. ;) I've been loving my routine using the brow mascara and my marionnaud eyebrow brush, so watch out for that. You guys, can get a little trick from it. Hopefully!

Okay, enough with the chit-chats!

You need: an eyebrow pencil, a spoolie/brow brush, a clear brow gel/plain mascara and a concealer.

Here's me with my newly groomed, and nicely shaped (for me and by me) brows. IT'S IMPORTANT to have your brows groomed and cleaned okay? Unless, you're born like Julia Barretto or Cara. ;) but me, i like me brows to be nicely groomed.

Disclaimer: i am not a professional. I dont claim to be one. But i am striving to be one. Hahahaha! Chos! Please bear with my bare face and my brows. This is how I want them to be. ;)

1. Brush your brow hairs into place using a clean spoolie and a clear brow gel just to set the hairs into place. (I'm using nichido's clear mascara! Hehe :p)

2. Using your newly sharpened brow pencil outline your brows the way you want them to look like without being too harsh or too fake. Just follow where your brow shape is going. (If that makes sense.)

3. This is how it'll look like. Please outline your brows and fill in your brows' sparse parts very lightly with short strokes, i repeat, SHORT strokes. We are not trying to create a perfect, engineer-ed line here, people! (Hahahaha, this is me, laughing at my own jokes)

5. Brush your brows using the spoolie or just an ordinary brush lightly. I think that's the secret with that natural looking brows...

6. After brushing, you see that some of the product went too far away from my brows, worry not! Because, the concealer will save the day!
Concealer +Highlight= the wonders of makeup!

*apply concealer on your brow bone and the area where you can see a product that shouldnt supposed to be there. Hahaha!

7. Eww my beauty blender... Hahahaha. Hey, im too lazy to even wash it everyday! Dont judge me!

Anyways, just blend the concealer on your skin. It'll act as a highlighter too for your browbone. ;)

8. Teneeen!! The after look! Here's my brows after 7steps! :) this is my go-to brow look whenever i feel like I dont have the time and i'm going to be late.

I feel like, pencils are great whenever you're in a hurry but you just cant leave your house without having brows done! ;)

See you in my next post!

I'm planning to blog about my brow routine using my nyx eyebrow powder, my jazzy collection's brow gel and my gradient lips tutorial. ;) which one do you like to be next? Hmmm..

10 Days Of Beauty tag!

Thank you for this tag, maj! @makeupinmanila! 💖

My first ever joined tag! 10 days of beauty! What's that? Look at the photo above! :D

It was supposedly a 10 days posts about your makeups but I was busy on my 10th day so it took me 11 days. Hahaha! Anyways, if you follow me on Instagram you'll get what I'm talking about and if you dont. FOLLOW ME! =) @esirryhat . Thank you! 💖

For the first day: Favorite Makeup Products.

It was hard to pick because I love all my makeups. Hahaha.

I consider these makeups as my favorites since I always and by always i mean, like everyday when I'm going to school or somewhere.. Out there.. hahaha. or when I feel like doing a look.  PS, sorry for the crappy photos though. Lol.

Second Day: Primers, Foundations and Powders

I only have one primer and that's the Maybelline#BabySkinPoreEraser. My foundations are #fashion21twowaycake and #kokuryusummercake which I only use when i feel like doing a look or when I have to go to events that need full make up and for touch ups I use my maybelline pressed powder(I think I tend to have breakouts when using this. I would be glad if anyone can suggest a good pressed powder. :) Oh last and not the least, my maybelline bb cream! The first BB cream I tried and it gave me that fresh and radiant effect! I loove using this. 💖 I'm a fan of maybelline!

Third Day: Blushes, Highlighters, Bronzers

Avon Color Fold Up Palette Blushes
The Face Shop Blush on Stick
Ever Bilena's Blush in Raisin
Elf's Baked Highlighter
Nyx Blush in Taupe

I dont own many individual blushes. I usually use those blushes that comes with the eyeshadow palettes I have. The Ever Bilena blush is what I use everytime i go out or sometime my avon lip and cheek tint. I just started using highlighters, and now i feel that my make up isnt complete without using that! My bronzer/contour powder is my ever trusty Nyx Blush in Taupe. This isnt harsh to use for contour or bronzer. I'm planning to buy an elf/essence bronzer soon.

Fourth Day: Eyeshadow Collection

💄💖😍👸
Avon Color Fold up palette (Thank You, Da! 😍)
Nichido True Colors Palette (Thanks, Bruu!)
Aido Palette (Thanks, Err!)
Prestige's Skin Mineral Eyeshadows
Aube couture palette eyeshadow
mini palette from japan
allue roll on stick eyeshadows
nichido individual cocoa eyeshadow
and avon's dual eyeshadow.

See, i'm a sucker for eyeshadows. I cant get enough of it and lipsticks also. Lolol.

Okay here's a little confession:  i once (too) struggle with applying eyeshadows. I only knew one technique back then. That is, lighter shade on the lid and darker one on the crease that's all. Thanks to my mua gurus inspirations on youtube. I practiced and practiced and I still practice. I think i know better than I did. I cant master that clean smokey though. Haha! I'm still eyeing on other eyeshadow palettes.. I still have alot of things on my list. I guess it'll never end not until I'll have my own vanity room/drawer.

Fifth Day: Mascaras

Day 5 of #10daysofbeauty: Mascaras
Maybelline's the falsies mascara
Nichido (?) Clear Mascara and Elf's Dual Mascara (waterproof & regular)

Maybe I should collect more mascaras but everytime ill try to buy, my kuripot conscience appears and tell me not to since I have pa and mascaras dry quickly which can also means that you cant store it for a long time, will be useless and a waste of money.

Anyone can suggest good mascaras well aside from Nichido & Maybelline. Is Rimmel / Essence worth the try??

Oh and the elf mascara, dont even bother buying it. I just used it because sayang e. and thats just for everyday use. My maybelline one I use for special days. Maybelline is LOVE! The clear mascara, i use it when Im super lazy to do a full blast makeup lol and mascaras are one of the hardest to remove after. It can damage the skin around the eyes and lashes too plus you can use it as a brow gel. Yes for the BROWS. ;)

Sixth Day: Lipstick Collection

Ever Bilena's Matte Lipstick in Off Beat Pink.
Sophie's Russian Red
Avon's Charming Pomegranate
2 Lipsticks from japan that I dunno whats the brand because I cant read the their characters duh? It came along with the 2 eyeshadows mini palette.
NYX Matte Lipstick in Angel
MAC lipstick in Brick-o-la (First ever Mac Lipstick! Thanks chesca!)
MUA Luxe Lip Laquer in Funk and Reckless
Wet n Wild Megalast Lipstick Shades in:
Just Peachy 💖 (love everything in peach!)
Pinkerbelle
Ravin Raisin
CherryBomb
Stoplight Red

I had to threw some of my lipsticks away because they were expired/expiring soon but I bought new ones and I dont open them because once I open them, the expiration will start. Hahaha! I'm collecting the wet n wild megalast color lipsticks because they have all the shade I want! Currently my fave shade from the line is Just Peachy! <3 😍💄💖 I cannot wait to pre-order again at @nyxwholesaleph! :)))

Seventh Day: Lip balms, lip stains, lip glosses

Avon Color Fold Up Palette's Lip Glosses Herbench Lip Gloss (smells like marshmallows!) Maybelline's Lip Balm (First ever lip balm that I loved!) Herbench Lip Moisturizer Avon's cheek and Lip Tint.

Eight Day: Tools: Brushes & Sponges

I cant fit all of my tools here so here's my sponges and brushes. Nothing fancy. Some are just from the Artist Studio, Avon, Nichido, Elf, Maybelline Sponge. That tool in the middle is a refill sponges for eyeshadows which is really cool! Japan has the quirkiest and cutest stuff! :)

Ninth Day: Favorite Nail Polish Colors

Wuut. I dont really paint my nails often because  im not used to and it'll just chip off after alittle while because in clumsy. HAHA. Anyhoo!! Here are my nail  polish colors. 💅

Chic in Noni Green (Peaches, Reds, and Mints are 💖)
Chic Colorless (It's a must have anyways!)
Caress in Bold Pink

Tenth Day: Picture of your vanity

Here's my simple vanity.  I know it's not instagram post-worthy. It has to be FAB and wide. Believe me, I really want that too. Haha! Im saving up for that. In time! :D

Okay, this is a late post. I was super busy yesterday! I experienced the heavy traffic caused by the rush hour  at Ayala. Gee! But my first time at BGC! Hehe.
--

It was fun because i'm showing what I Love and at the same time, I am meeting new people who have the same likes as I have! Plus, I see mini-reviews about the products that are on my to-buy-list that are not worthy/worthy to purchase!

My friends/relatives will always tell me that i already have many makeups and that I should stop buying for more. Wait, till they see what the others have! I have like 1/4 of what they have!! Hahaha. XD

Until next post!

Oh btw, I'm planning to do a look and play with my makeups again. What do you think I should do? A light make up or a heavy one? =)

And i anyone can teach me how to "beautify" haha my blog layout and design. Please do Pm me! =)

Toodles! 👋💖💄👸

DIY Brush Cleaner,Holder and Brush Guards!

If you're on a tight budget like me, I am always on a tight budget but I still spent alot. :( hahaha. I cant afford those brush cleaners, brush holder and brush guards. Not right now, when there will always has something to save to. (e.g Grad Ball Dress, Shoes, etc.) So I researched and read some blogs about the DIY Brush Cleaners, Holder and Guards!

DIY Brush Cleaner

I recently deep cleaned my brushes using an extra virgin olive oil and an anti bacterial soap. I learned this trick from Michelle Phan in Youtube, only she uses the dishwashing soap instead of me using the anti bacterial soap.  The EVOO is to maintain the softness of hair of the brushes since the soap can be harsh and can damage the bristles of the brushes while the anti bacterial soap cleanses the germs away from the brushes!
Bioderm's Germicidal Soap.

Photo isnt mine. But this is what I use.
Credits to: http://article.wn.com/view/2010/06/04/Feds_get_picky_over_what_makes_oil_extra_virgin_h/

How I do it is to first wash the brush with water then slightly dab it to the soap and then pour a little amount of EVOO to it. *Dont put too much oil or you'll never be able to use your brush again* Wash it thoroughly.

After cleaning, I used to blow dry them but found out that it's a No-No.  So, to dry my brushes I have two options.

First:
I used a clean towel and placed it like this so the water wont go where the glue that holds the hair and the handle together.

Second: DIY Brush Holders.

MY DIY BRUSH HOLDERS. Brainy, right? ;)

I also use a hanger that has several clippers, or what we call here "sipitan" then I clip my brushes the same position as in the first option and then hang it and wait for it to dry.

DIY Brush Guards

Brush Guards cost around 200 and contains for 6 to 8 guards, I think.  I have alot of brushes and I think that's not "sulit".  So, I'm suggesting this DIY that I have read somewhere. I trried this and I guess, it's effective! :)

When you buy a brush well of course it is placed in a plastic packaging like this.  Make sure to clean it first by wiping it with a wet towel first then a dry one after.

Cut it like this.

It should look like this. Owkay?

I know some will be too big for a brush so I suggest you get a tape and then tape it outside so it'll fit the brush and the brush will maintain its shape.  Try putting holes in the plastics so the air can peep into the brush.

Voila, you have your brush guards! ;)

I hope you guys learned some cool stuff.  Sometimes, you really dont need to spend alot! Always try to look for alternatives! ;)

Til next post!
