Top Three Favorite Lippies!

Hi guys! I've been inactive here but I am sooo active in IG. Lately, I have lots of free time so I played with my fave things in the world, i want you guys to guess what they are! Hahaha.

I have been practicing doing my brows and my eyeliner with a thin flick using my Avon Super Extend Eyeliner (I posted a mini review on my IG, @esirryhat) that I neglected my babies, i mean my lippies. So, today, i got to use some of them. 

You guys dont know this is a new trend!! Hahaha. I wanted to compare NYX SMLC in *Antwerp (got confused with amsterdam and antwerp) and Wet N Wild Just Peachy. Yes, I'm a fan of pink-peach-rose lipsticks. 

With this one, I tried that Korean gradient lip trend, where you used a darker lip color for the inside and lighter at the outer. I used Revlon's Lip Balm/Stain in Crush for the inside part and WNW Just peachy for the outer. 

Same products from the 2nd picture. This was after applying the lippies for 10minutes. That revlon balm stain!!! Ughhh. <3 Stain kung stain! :D Looove eet! 

When I first tried using make up, the only lipstick I would buy/wear are lip stains ( My college friends know this! Thank you for lending me yours, girls! hahahaha!) because I hate how sticky lipsticks are, it could run all over your face. I used to be a low maintenance girl, but ya know, that was just a phase in a woman's life. Wow. :p

Right now, although I own lots of lippies and if I were to be asked to pick ONE lippy that I would bring with me for everyday,that would be... lip stain/lip tints all the way, gurrrrl!

Putting colors in your plain smokey eye!

Hi guys! Let me share one of my routine when I'm online, and that's to watch Youtube Makeup Tutorials! I'm subscribe to Batalash, chrisspy, patrick star, michelle phan (of course), NikkieTutorials etc. 

My fave of them all is Batalash! Sssssmantha! Their channel also gives techniques if you are an aspiring MUA, like me. :P 

Here's one technique they shared:

Using a black color as a base to make the lid color you like stand out! 

I have been doing make up looks with neutral colors and some pinks and purple. I decided to get out of my comfort zone and some other colors (bold colors) to try. It was scary at first because I dont want to look like I was just punched my someone. Err, black eye , nope!

So here's a green eye smokey eye just for a change! 

I used these eyeshadows from Nichido and Avon Color Fold Up Pallette. I paired it with a nude lippie and rosy cheeks, because I want the eye makeup to stand out. 

So, the black base! I first used a flat eyeshadow brush and sprayed some water on it so I can pack alot of the color to my lid. I blended it with a clean brush.

Then, the color you prefer for your lid, sprayed some water again to the brush, then pack it on your lid. Voila! The color will be more opaque than the usual! More darker though. But I like it. :D i used that dark green and black right there in the nichido palette.

Then that green in the Avon Color Fold up Palette as the blending color because I dont think using a brown color as a blending color would work. :p 

BLEND, blend and blend! Hehehe. :p

Can I just rant about this NYX SMLC in Athens? Gahd. The perfect nude for me! :">  i got this from bodyrockers in IG! :D

For the rest of my makeup, I didnt use foundation so you still can see my veins and imperfections there! Hahaha. Naah, I was too lazy and I feel my eyes are going to be more irritated if Im going to layer more makeup :( But I cant help myself from not playing with my makeup :( Hahaha. 

Used concealers (yes concealers! I used my nyx concealer and LA Girl Pro conceal) to hide my blemishes, and to brighten the undereyes. 

Used my jazzy brow gel for the brows.

Eyebrow Routine using an Eyebrow Cake/ Powder.

Hi everyone! It's been awhile! I finally had the time again to do a blog. (I have all the time in the world now! Ha!) My previous post was about my eyebrow routine using a pencil, now I'll be sharing with you guys how I do my brows using a Powder/Cake.  I have two ways of doing it because it depends if I have the time to perfect them brows and I want them to be precised or I dont have the time and I dont want to put too much effort on it.  It also depends on my mood. ;)

Ill be using my Marionnaud brush, it's dual ended so it's handy! It comes with a brush for the application on the other side, and the other one is a spoolie. Very convenient!

Next, is the star of the show ( I mean, post). It's my Eyebrow Cake from NYX in Taupe.

Inside, you can find two mini brushes. One spoolie and the other one is just an ordinary brush.  It also contains a wax, two shades of powders: One light and one dark.

Here's how I use this.

First is of course to brush your brows in place. Then, with that mini brush, I dip it into the wax and apply it to my brow hair just so it would stay in place.

You can use a setting spray or just water.

Sprayed some on the cover.

I find it easier to use and the color shows its true shade when it's use with a damp brush.  Plus, that's why it's called eyebrow cake because it's easier to blend with if it's a little bit damp. ( dont quote me on that though haha. )

I dip my damp brush into the two shades then take off the excess with a clean tissue paper.  I outline my bottom part of my brows.

Then my upper part.  I blend them afterwards and then put some for the sparse parts of my brows and then brush it off using the other end of my eyebrow brush.

If you have put too much and you messed the shape of your brows you can always use your concealer and clean it up, like what I did in my previous post

Eyebrow routine using an eyebrow pencil.

Although, I'm a lipstick junkie my fave part of my make up routine is doing my brows. I've been practicing to have that perfect brows, Well atleast for me.

I dont like those over done brows. lately, the natural looking that has a shape and a little arch is fine with me. I am also struggling (struggling is way exaggerated!) to find the perfect shade for my brows. Not too black, not to brown. I have a black hair, so if anyone can suggest a good one, comment down below please? *.* 

So, i just wanna share to you guys how I do my brows using a pencil, a brow powder and a brow gel/mascara. For this post, I'll be using my Nichido Eyebrow Pencil in Black brown. Then for the brow powder and brow gel, maybe on my next post. ;) I've been loving my routine using the brow mascara and my marionnaud eyebrow brush, so watch out for that. You guys, can get a little trick from it. Hopefully!

Okay, enough with the chit-chats! 

You need: an eyebrow pencil, a spoolie/brow brush, a clear brow gel/plain mascara and a concealer.

Here's me with my newly groomed, and nicely shaped (for me and by me) brows. IT'S IMPORTANT to have your brows groomed and cleaned okay? Unless, you're born like Julia Barretto or Cara. ;) but me, i like me brows to be nicely groomed. 

Disclaimer: i am not a professional. I dont claim to be one. But i am striving to be one. Hahahaha! Chos! Please bear with my bare face and my brows. This is how I want them to be. ;) 

1. Brush your brow hairs into place using a clean spoolie and a clear brow gel just to set the hairs into place. (I'm using nichido's clear mascara! Hehe :p)

 

2. Using your newly sharpened brow pencil outline your brows the way you want them to look like without being too harsh or too fake. Just follow where your brow shape is going. (If that makes sense.) 

3. This is how it'll look like. Please outline your brows and fill in your brows' sparse parts very lightly with short strokes, i repeat, SHORT strokes. We are not trying to create a perfect, engineer-ed line here, people! (Hahahaha, this is me, laughing at my own jokes)

5. Brush your brows using the spoolie or just an ordinary brush lightly. I think that's the secret with that natural looking brows... 

 

6. After brushing, you see that some of the product went too far away from my brows, worry not! Because, the concealer will save the day!

  Concealer +Highlight= the wonders of makeup! 

*apply concealer on your brow bone and the area where you can see a product that shouldnt supposed to be there. Hahaha! 

7. Eww my beauty blender... Hahahaha. Hey, im too lazy to even wash it everyday! Dont judge me!

Anyways, just blend the concealer on your skin. It'll act as a highlighter too for your browbone. ;) 

8. Teneeen!! The after look! Here's my brows after 7steps! :) this is my go-to brow look whenever i feel like I dont have the time and i'm going to be late.

 I feel like, pencils are great whenever you're in a hurry but you just cant leave your house without having brows done! ;)

Rewards for myself! (July&August Haul)

Been MIA for the past weeks since I've been employed... Let's not talk about that. 

Employed = Paydays = Hauls = Tiring too. Hahaha.

Here's some of what I've been buying just to reward myself! Plus, i miss blogging.  Most especially doing looks and playing with my most favorite things! Make ups!! 

Let's start off with hair care/skin care/lip care!

Lately, I've been using and trying out different products from Human Nature just because I want to use all natural beauty products. Ehem #maarte ehem #iwaschemical hehe.

Human Nature's Moisturizing Conditioner, Peppermint and Wild Berry Lipbalms and Strengthening Shampoo

Their shampoos and conditioners smell oh so good! but it does not lasts unless you'll wet your hair again. :( 

With the peppermint/strengthening shampoo, it feels cool on the scalp which I find relaxing but i love the moisturizing/lush vanilla scent more. 

Human Nature's Moisturizing Shampoo and Hand and Foot Salve

Tbh, I didnt liked the peppermint one because I feel like it makes my hair mre frizzy. So, i bought the moisturizing one right after i emptied it. 

I'm suffering from very dry hands that it tends to crack my skin which is annoying and painful(a little bit). I've read that this salve saves dry hands!! Haha but srsly! So i bought it and ill try it after i empty my nivea creme. 

Lip balms! 

Human Nature Lip Balm in Wild Berry 

I was planning to buy another maybelline baby lips, but i'm determined to switch to all-naturals so i decided to buy a lip balm from Human Nature as well. I didnt picked those tinted balms because I just want to moisturize my lips before applying my lipsticks, and I love MATTE lipsticks!

I asked the reseller what's their best seller in their lip care line which is not tinted. She said it's either the Wild berry and the Peppermint. i chose the wild berry, because I love the berry scent of my baby lips lip balm and i want my next lip balm to smell like berry the way my previous balm smelled! It didnt disappoint me! I love how moisturizing and fruity it smells! I use it everyday and every night! Recommended! 

Dear Human Nature, all of your products smell so addicting!! Loooove everything! Someday, everything i use will be from your brand!  Hihi. 

Nail polish! 

Maybelline's Color Show Nail Polish in Bold Gold

I have confessed it in my previous blog that I dont really put much effort when it comes to my nails! I just clean it keep it short. But THIS! I'm inlooove!

I once saw Taylor Swift wearing a gold nail polish on one of her photoshoots in the magazines, and I've been looking for that perfect gold nail polish, thank you Maybelline for coming out with one! 

Trip to the dollar store! 

Jordana blushes in Rouge, Blushing Rose and Sandalwood.  

LA Girl Grafix Liquid Eyeliner. 

Every make up junkies should visit a dollar store!! A lot of thrift finds, I tell you! As of now, they carry SOME Jordana cosmetics for a dollar or 99Php only! The blushes are very much pigmented!! :D

Mac Class A Retractable Brush. 

New blushes need new retractable brush. That's one of the cons of the jordana blushes though. I'm always on-the-go and I dont want to bring many makeups or tools so I bought this retractable brush for only 120Php. I can use Class A brushes but not CLASS A make ups. I dont want to take risks when it comes to that but I'm tempted to try some of them sometimes. Hahaha. :P ;)

I saw this from a classmate/friend's ig post and right then and then I wanted one! I'm a frustrated flight attendant and like, everyone i know, knows that too! 

Someday, I'll be in the plane not only as one of the craft's passenger but also as a cabin crew! I have promised that to myself and I shall keep it! I knowwww. Sooon! 😍

I was expecting for a palette, but i received a Lipstick, a glossy lipstick with a cutie aztec black and white pouch and gift checks that I wish were not for make overs but for shopping. Hahaha. XD But hey, its PAC!!!! Why am I even complaining!! XD 

About the lipstick:

A glossy lipstick. It's glossy but you still can see the color when you applied it on your lips.

What it claims and its best before March 2017! WHAAT! This made me so happy! <3 haha.

Ingredients...

I so LOVE the packaging! So classy! Glad they stick with the colors black and white! It has this metal lining where PAC is engraved. Professional Artist Cosmetics! =) how i wish I was a Pro! Hehehe. 

The shade is called "Rosy Brown". I dont wear or buy brown shade lipsticks. I am more of the pinks, reds and peaches! And if ill be buying a nude lipstick, I want the pinkish nude lippies. But this shade, is an exception! I must start buying more! 

This shade reminds me of my Sophie Paris Lipstick in Mango Peach! But once applied, it's true to its shade name. 

So pretty, it looks like I'm not wearing a lipstick because it's the same as my natural lip color, except that its glossy. haha! Well, hello! It's a brown shade lipstick! Im not really good at describing. Haha! 

It really is glossy. 

I can even wear this shade for everyday and when I feel like wearing minimal makeup.. #KaTamadDays . It lasts for 3-4 hours without a heavy meal. 

Me with the PAC glossy lipstick in Rosy Brown on. No powders or other makeups. Dare to be Bare. ;)
